The Willsbro herd from Wadebridge, Cornwall, were crowned as the winners of the 2023 Holstein UK National Premier Herd Award. The Wills Brothers were presented with the highly acclaimed award at UK Dairy Day and now welcome visitors to the Premier Herd Open Day and Premier Herd Sale on Tuesday 2nd July.

The Wills family’s 1700-cow herd was singled out for praise by judge Brian Moorhouse of the Aireburn herd, for its exceptional management and presentation on a large scale. The cows are housed in sand-bedded cubicles, with a tidal wash-down system and milked three times daily through a 60-point rotary parlour.
