How to Tag and Test with BVDFree
BVDFree England is a voluntary, industry led scheme which is working to elimiate bovine viral diarrhoea from all cattle in England. The key to success is to identify and remove all animals persistently infected with the BVD virus from the English cattle herd.
A video has been launched through the scheme which demonstrates how to tissue test for BVD using the tag and test method. Tag and test offers a simple and convenient option for checking the BVD status of an animal.
